How a market plays out

How a market settles
When the window ends, the resolver reads every trader's PnL in one batch and proposes the winner. Then the clock starts.
One read, at the close
PnL is read once, when the window ends, and stored with the proposal. Figures older than two hours are refused.
Time to dispute
A proposed result can be challenged for the dispute window before anyone can finalize it.
Full refunds if it's voided
No result 7 days after the window ends, or nobody backed the winner: every bet comes back, fee included.
3% fee, held until it settles
The fee is locked when the market is created and only taken when it resolves.
